Working within the spirit of the European Heritage Days/Doors open Days initiative, three communities in Scotland, France and Germany have come together to celebrate their built heritage through this collaborative website.
The picture Gallery contains 40 photographic views from each town to allow a comparison of their respective architectural heritage.
Captions in English, French and German describe each view.
